My mood had a drastic change last night. . .and all because of GO FISH!!!! Now, I bet you're going HuH? Go fish? I don't get it?!?! I'll explain!!!
Todd used to have this CD by a group called GO FISH. They are a Christian acapella group, and are AMAZING. Their songs are uplifting, energetic, and I just love them. Todd had given this CD to a family friend a while ago, and never got it back. But he needed it for something, so he called, and went over to get it back. The SECOND he put it on the computer you could just FEEL the spirits lift around here. It was AMAZING! The kids all came running, and were dancing and groovin' around the bedroom. It is seriously THAT kind of music!
This particular CD is called "Go Fish, Out of breath". And its the original three guys from the group. They are no longer together as these original three, and they've changed things up a little bit and their sound is a little bit different now, but they're still awesome! THIS is a link to their myspace page. I LOVE the mommy song on there!!! They've apparently turned the corner a little bit, and are singing more for the kids, but their sound is SO awesome! I think I need to get a copy of their latest CD for the kids! I sat and listened to all their new stuff this morning, and it just ROCKS! Seriously. check it out, and I bet you're groovin in no time!!!
It's amazing how music can change you! And in this case, not only music, but music that reminds me that I'm not alone in this world. God will always be here right next to me, and if he brings me TO it, he'll bring me THROUGH it! I just can't forget that!!!!

love your header pic!! that is so freakin' cute! thanks for all of the info on the penguins!! lol! hang in there! i know how hard it is to find friends, especially when you're somewhat isolated with kiddos!! :) once they get a bit older and join sports, i'm sure that you'll meet lots of new people. That is how I've met a lot of friends of mine! also through work...but that will stop now! hang in there girl! i am happy that go fish has lifted your spirits!
I'm looking them up now. I'm in desperate need of some more kid friendly music!!

Thanks Misty. I've gotten to know a few of the moms and dads at the school, but it really only goes that far. I think what I'm really craving is a really close personal friendship. I have a couple of wonderful friends who I love and adore, only they live way too far away.
Crystal, you just had a huge bomb dropped on ya hearing that they're sending Phil away again. I'd be in a funk too. I'm still not past it, but the music of Go Fish really helped to brighten my mood. I think I might send you a couple of their songs via email. . .they are really awesome! And for kids, I think their stuff is fun, up beat, and as they promise, won't bother the parents. I actually just bought two of their CD's to give dallas for his birthday, since he fell in love with them last night! And the kids learn bible friendly songs in a fun way!!!!

I just love when music makes you feel the Spirit. I always get moved like that at my church on Sunday morning and really love when i find music that makes me feel as you are describing at home. I will be heading over there straight from here to check it out.
