Part 2 of 20 things about me. . .

So after thinking about it some more after I posted the first set, I thought of some things that some might consider "weird" about me. . .thought I'd tack those onto the list too!


- I won't eat breakfast foods after breakfast. Just can't do it. If its something like pancakes, or eggs and toast, I can only eat it for breakfast. There is no such thing as breakfast for dinner in our house, unless daddy made the kids dinner and mom has something else! The only exception to this rule is that I can do hard boiled eggs at other times of the day.

- I don't drink alcohol. At all. Its not that I have anything against it. I just can't stand the aftertaste. Yuck. People try ALL. THE. TIME. To try to get me to try different things because "you can't taste the alcohol." Well, when you don't LIKE it, yes, yes you can!!!

- I don't like pepper. I just don't like the flavor. The only exception to this rule is that I'll use it on fried eggs.

- I haven't slept through the night in over 7 years. Ever since having kids, I have to get up to use the bathroom at least once a night. And I pee about a thousand times a day, so I guess that makes sense!

- I don't drink coffee. And I don't like the smell.

- I don't like seafood. I'm not into shrimp, lobster, crab, none of it. The only exception to this rule is if its something very mild, like talapia, or breaded fish from the grocery store. But it must be eaten dunked in lemon and butter. Otherwise its a no go!

- I'm fascinated by hospitals. I actually LIKE being at the hospital. Its probably one of the main reasons I decided to go into the medical field.

- I've never smoked anything, EVER. Seriously. I've never smoked ANYTHING. My grandpa died of lung cancer when I was 13. His wasn't from smoking, but I watched him suffer, and I vowed then to never smoke anything. EVER. And the smell of smoke actually gives me a huge headache, and being around smoke brings on migraines. Its bad.

- I love water. I could swim for hours.

- I've driven all kinds of different things. Such as large dozers for dirt work, which my grandpa used to do when he was alive!! We were always given the chance to try things!!

- Guns don't scare me. I used to hunt, when it was a source of putting food on the table for my family. (when I was in my teens) And my husband has his permit to carry a concealed weapon. I know how to work all of his weapons, and am not afraid of them.

- My two very best friends in the entire world I've talked to for years, but have never met either of them face to face in person. I hope to some day, but they both live a good deal away from here.

- I have all the stuff to make beautiful home made cards, and I love to do so. But I haven't made one in over 2 years because I can't stand the thought of having to take it all out just to have to put it all away. So I just hold on to it till I have more room.

- Baby won't sleep? Hand 'em to me. 99% chance I'll have them sleeping in no time. Its a family trait. My grandpa could do it, my mom does it, and so do I. Don't know what it is, but every time we hold a fussy baby, they're sleeping in no time flat. I guess we're blessed that way!

- In the summer, Todd and I will do corn dinners. It consists of ONLY corn on the cob!! We get it fresh from the farm, and that's all that meal is. With the kids here now we throw in hot dogs into their mix. But we look forward to them all year!!

- I'm freaked out by fish swimming in the lake. I love the water, and swimming, but the fish in there creep me out!

- In person, I'm SUPER shy. You'd never guess it with the way I type, but typing is so much easier for me. Its easier for me to put things in writing. Always has been. I make friends really easily, but I'm so shy I know I come off as stuck up some times. I'm not. I'm very down to earth, and would do anything for anyone.

- My husband is my one and only. I've never slept with anyone else. That isn't too common these days, but its actually something I think is really really cool!!!!


Ok, I think that's enough weird facts about me for now!!! Just had to add those to the list while I was thinking about it!!!
