Well, that sucked.

Or did it blow? Take your pick either way I guess. I think I'll stick with sucked. Since usually sucked is an intake of breath, like after someone give you a swift kick in the gut. . .but thats neither here nor there! Either way two nights ago I went to get on the computer to show my sister in law Sara something. And I couldn't get on the internet. I thought something was goofy, and that the boys had been throwing things at the line in the back yard again. . .so I called the phone company. . .nope. It wasn't my children. It was the fact that we were behind on the phone bill, because money's been so tight lately. Sooo . . . the internet went out, and I had a mini melt down. Its amazing how much I rely on this stupid hunk of metal! When you can't just run to the computer to look something up, or check your email, etc. Its amazing how suffocating it can feel when you can't do that. Well, after one day of being out, we decided to pull some money out of savings that's supposed to go for paying our property taxes, and pay the bill. We'll replenish the money when we get our nice little money from the government, and I am once again on line! YAY!!! I know it could have been worse, and more than one day, but when the only way you "talk" to adults is on the computer, it gets nerve wracking!!!! And the silence of how often my phone DOESN'T ring stands out even more! At least with a computer clacking away, I don't tend to notice!!!


What else.. . hmm. OH! Dallas turns 7 on Sunday. Just two short days away, and I'm in TOTAL denial! I can't believe I'll have a 7 year old. And I know i say this every year that passes, but the time just goes by WAY too quickly! I'm not OLD enough to have a 7 year old, am I? WOW! He of course is looking forward to his party, and the transformers cake that he picked out! I'm sure I'll have a bunch of picture to share after his party on Sunday!!

I also had the realization yesterday that the school year is almost over. We got the kids May lunch calendar, and I realized that June was printed on the back, because there just isn't a need to send one for only six days of the month. But YIKES! We're only about 6 weeks away from school being done, and then I'll have a 2nd grader, and a 1st grader. WOW! This school year has just flown by! Its unreal!!!

Beyond that, nothing else is really new. Tonight we're taking the kids to Chuck E. Cheese's because the school carnival is tonight, and they'll drill it into them to GO TO THE CARNIVAL! But there isn't anything for Kaleb and Kendyl there, so Sara and I talked, and we'll just bring all the kids to have pizza and games with the Cheese. The kids are all really looking forward to it! And This weekend is really really busy with a family get together tomorrow, and Dallas's party on Sunday. Both of which, I'm hosting of course. Lots of clean up, and mess, and food, and TIRED KIDS!!!
