Saturday we got up, and Todd got ready to get out the door. He decided to opt out of the family get together for my side, and instead go do a plumbing side job he'd been offered, since they were offering him 20 dollars an hour for his time. We can't pass up the extra money right now, so he had to go do it. So I got to pack everything up to take down to his work my self, and I had to get my kids ready, and also had to get the chicken Alfredo lasagna roll ups made. Would you know that that would be the day my phone would ring fifty million times, and people wouldn't quit coming to my door? I was more than a little frazzled by the time we left, and was SO thankful that it was for my side, not Todd's. My side all kinda chips in, and helps with the kids. My uncles are AWESOME with all the kids, and they keep them pretty busy, and entertained the entire time! It was nice. I got a couple hours of a break! Todd did wind up catching up with us, shortly after everyone left. He more just came down, had a sandwich, and we locked everything back up, since we'd be returning the next day for Dallas's birthday party. OH, if I didn't mention, the parties were at the clubhouse at his work. Its WAY bigger than our house, and with May weather, we just can't risk doing it here, since our house is SO small!!!
Sunday we had to go to church in the morning. I was working in the nursery, and Todd was playing guitar and singing. We brought along some fruit roll ups for Dallas's Sunday school class to have. There was a little boy who had a dairy allergy, so cookies, or cupcakes were out, so we opted for fruit roll ups!! Then, we rushed home from church to change, and grab the last bits for the party before heading to Todd's work again. The party was at 1:30. It went really well. The only thing that got me on the entire weekend was the fact that each and every one of my kids was super super whiny the entire time. Seriously, look at them wrong, and they'd erupt into tears.
Dallas got some pretty awesome gifts for his birthday. He got a DS from my parents, he got the new Mario cart for the Wii from my mother in law, and grandmother in law. Three extra steering wheels for that from my brother in law, and sister in law, he got a left handed baseball glove, and a couple of balls from My brother, and sister in law. (he writes right handed, but does everything else left!) He got an under water surf board from my grand parents (foam that you try to stand on and balance in the water!) and from Todd and I he got all the stuff I'd listed in the previous post about my retail therapy!!!!
Here are a few picture from yesterday!!!
This is the big birthday boy yesterday morning! Had to take a picture first thing! I can hardly believe he's 7!!!

How do you get T to take pics with you? You-know-who won't take pictures. He won't take pics of ME with the kids, and he won't let me take pics OF him.
Whatever, his picture taking kind of sucks unless it's a fish that he just caught LOL.
Glad that things went well this weekend! I hear on the frazzled issue... I haaaaaaate it when you have XXXXXX to do and XXX amount of time to get it done in and then everyone and their mother needs something from you or decides to call when you really don't have the time. Ahh.. but life is grand, isn't it?
Happy belated birthday to your big boy! He looks positively ancient in those pictures! Maybe it's the new hair cut? My boys always look so much older after they get the hair chopped. D looks sooo much older in those pictures though!
Great pics! I esp. love the one of you & Todd! :) So nice.
The party sounded just wonderful!
Happy Birthday to your big guy!
OMG I thought GABE was DALLAS! I had to do a double take.
And yes, I'm bored, sifting through your blog, even though I've already ready everything.
