We got married on a nice sunny November 25. In 2000 to be exact. So our last anniversary we happily celebrated 8 years as a married couple!!!! We were 19 and 20, setting out on a new life together. Not sure what the future would hold, or where it would bring us, but knowing that we would be happy to do it together. We were facing many more challenges starting out our new married life than most. On the day that we got married, I was 12 weeks pregnant. 12 weeks pregnant with our first miracle. The one they told me had to happen young, or wouldn't happen at all. But we were in love, and blessed, and were going to make the best of it. Our first year of marriage was a tough one. Not because we couldn't handle married life, but because it was full of so many unexpected surprises. Like how just 2 months after we said I do, our baby tried to make an early appearance into this world. At just 20 weeks 5 days he would have been way too early. And after some time in the hospital, we spent those first several months as a newly married couple worried, and waiting to see what would happen. But through it all our love and faith carried us through. And now, 8 years, 2 houses, and 4 kids later we're just as happy as we were back then. He's my very best friend in this entire world and I don't know where I'd be without him!!!

Way back when-sday!!!!
I have been thinking about this one for MONTHS!!! I've been waiting for my computer to get fixed so that I could post it! This picture was supposed to be posted the week in November that my wedding anniversary fell, and wouldn't you know, I crashed the week before? So I'm posting it now, and sharing with all of you, my wedding picture.
