Mommy moment Monday!

Its Monday yet again, which means its time for another mommy moment from the past week. And you know what? I'm sitting here, trying to think of one. And nothing is rushing to my mind! We had such a busy week that all the details are blurring together!!! There were the usual things like shopping. My kids have been doing so great there! No begging, no pestering (well, except for each other!!!), and they were actually even pretty quiet. That in itself is a small miracle! Taking four kids under the age of 7 out to a store usually means a pretty high level of volume. They could be quiet as a mouse, well, until we walk through the door that is!!!!!

Hmmm, what sticks out from this last week. OH!!!! I got it! I have a proud mommy moment!!! We got Dallas's mid term teacher report this last week!!! On Friday actually! And I opened it up and about fell over! Seriously! IT was AMAZING!!!! Here is what it said:

Reading:
Your student was given a fall reading assessment to check their independent reading level. Your child scored: Above Grade Level- Grade 6

(HOLY!!! WHAT!?!?!?! Grade SIX?!?!?! He's only in the start of SECOND grade!!!)

Math:
Students have been wroking on addition and subtraction. They need to demonstrate understanding of partners and totals . Your child is performing: At grade level at all or almost all objectives.

(PERFECT!! Can't ask for more than right on track!)

Spelling:
Students have weekly spelling lists to practice. Every Thursday they have a spelling test, which is worth 12 points. Your child is performing: Consistently exceeds grade level expectations.

(WOO HOO!!! I knew this one was coming. He hasn't missed a single word on his spelling tests yet! And he even gets the bonus words too!)

Homework:
Students receive a homework packet every Friday. The homework needs to be completed and turned in by the next Monday. Your child's effort is: Excellent

I'm so proud of him! With the addition of the ADD meds, and the fixing of his eye, with adding the glasses in, he's just taken off, and is having a FANTASTIC year this year!!! EXCELLENT year!! I'm so happy for him!

If you want to play along, just let me know in a comment, and I'll link to you here!
