1 step forward, 2 steps back.

This is how you do the house polka!!! At least in this house when you're talking about progress on the new house!!! Yesterday the plumbing inspector came out. The goal was for him to look at the progress they made, ok it, and then discuss what he would allow them to do next. Y eah. It didn't go so well, and there will now be some RE doing, all because he wasn't very clear on the first go round. Sigh. Its so frusterating. This was supposed to be one big hurdle we were able to FLY over, and then we could move forward and get that much closer to MOVING. Now they have to back track some, and then go from there.

Here are some pictures of the progress lately.

This is the ONE part of the plumbing that doesn't need something done to it! Its perfectly fine!!!
This has to have a small piece flipped, but other than that, its ok. You see the inspectors drawings on the wall? Yeah, thats what they've been going off.
This is the kitchen, with its big gigantic hole. there is more to fix in this mess.

The next two are Kalebs room all torn apart ready to paint.

THERE'S PAINT ON THE WALLS! WOO HOO!!! Light blue on the top , darker on the bottom.

The trim for the built ins is the dark color, the drawers, the light color, and the knobs will be the dark color! Should look really cute!!!

Kendyl's room. All done being painted!!! Dark purple on the lower, light on the upper!
Her dresser drawers were in REALLY REALLY rough shape. We'll have to do some fixing on those before they can be painted, and put back in.
It was a bit of an upsetting day, to take that step back, when I was all geared up for good news. But they're working on the problem, and hopefully it will only be forward going from here.

Oh that really sucks, Hon. I'm so sorry to hear that you had bad news rather than good. I hope they get things completed quickly so you can be back on track with your moving. *hug*
