Wow. .. .its been way too long!!!

Its been way too long since I've actually had a chance to sit down and update here! Things have been super crazy! Summer has been in full swing, and my schedule just seems to be forever full. It amazes me how I can have so much on my plate at once and keep it all strait!

The first thing I need to update on is the twins turning FOUR!!! Their birthday was July 13th. We were out of town on vacation over their birthday so I didn't get the chance to update my pictures of them that day!!! They had a really good birthday though! We celebrated with family two weekends before their birthday, in a triple birthday extravaganza with Gabe. Since their birthdays are only 5 days apart and we'd be on vacation we figured that would be easier this year!! And then ON their birthday we left camping and headed into town for a trip to McDonalds, and a trip through Walmart to pick up some cupcakes, and other stuff for their birthday dinner! Kendyl requested pizza, and Kaleb king crab. (he's not his daddy's son or anything!!!) We settled on shrimp and steak. They both seemed happy with that as long has he got his lightning McQueen cup cakes, and she got her tinkerbell ones!!!! All in all it was a great day, and I'm still struggling with the fact that my BABIES, my YOUNGEST KIDS are FOUR!!! Holy cow!!!

July 13, 2009, four years old!!!

Our vacation was kind of a bust this year. IT was COLD!!! There were days that the HIGHS were in the 40's. NOT weather you'd expect in mid July!! We wound up leaving our original plans behind and headed for warmer weather, and a different place at the end of our vacation. The kids seemed to have a great time though, and that's really what counts!!! For those of you on my facebook I have the whole series of pictures on there. For now I'll just post this one of my kids on our last day way north, getting ready to head for warmer weather and sun!!!

Our weekends since then have been filled with going to my parents camper and hanging out with them. Last weekend it was while Todd was working on tiling our entry room here at home. (it looks AMAZING!) And last weekend while I was out I tried to get some new pictures of the kids. They were a little less than cooperative. Though that seems to be the status quo lately!!!

Other than that life here goes on as usual. Our only addition is that I'm now doing day care for my good friend Amy's little boy. He's a wonderful little boy!! My kids adore him!!! I won't lie, its been interesting getting used to having a baby in the house again, but I think we're finally settling into the routine of it all and getting on track!!!!!
